Who is Lopp?  What is Lopp?

Lopp is a rabbit.  My rabbit.  I bought him home from a pet shop when I walked passed the pet shop display and saw him.  It was love at first sight for me (and I hope that it was the same for him too).  I remember when I first carried him home, everything felt so complete.  And I've never felt more loved by any animal, than when Lopp first licked my hand.

That was in early 2007.  Lopp has since established his "hierachy" in my house, and now enjoys sniffing curiously at everything in my living room and mischeviously marking his territory "chin-ing" everything accessible to him and occasionally, with his poops!  Nevertheless, nothing has changed the love I have for Lopp.  Through the past few years, he has been my companion, buddy and most trusted confidante.  Somehow, he seems to have the innate ability to sense my happiness or disappointments. 

If we all had to recite vows before owning a pet, I know my vow to Lopp would be: I take Lopp to be my most precious bunny, to have and to hold, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish; from this day forward till death do us part.  And this is a lovely picture, of my very precious furkid, Lopp.
